No other composer seems fitting to celebrate the Music Appreciation classes return to Blackheath Halls this November, and perhaps no other composer has surpassed Beethoven in terms of the great life force which infuses his music.

This extended series of lectures, which will continue into 2022, will cover many aspects of Beethoven's genius focusing on his Concertos, Overtures, Masses and related works, as a belated tribute to his 250th Birthday celebrations last year.
